The main attraction at Jumbos for the kids is the huge, six metre high climbing frame, with all of its slides and swings and gizmos, together with the six and a half metre high bouncy slide. Jumbo’s keep the toddlers separate and give them a big ball pit to play in, a push car track and a tiny town with a variety of shops and activities.

For the mothers and carers they have a 120 seat café, baby change facilities, bottle & baby food warming facilities, and of course are breastfeeding friendly.

In the cafe the wonderful chef Jodie cooks all meals on site, including ready-made snacks and sweets, as well as all day brekkie, sandwiches and hot food made to order from our menu. All orders can be phoned through ready for takeaway or you can take your lunch home after your children have been playing all morning.

The café staff have completed Dane’s Gourmet Barista Course and hold certificates in safe food handling. Jumbos guarantee the coffee is delicious, because they use only Dane’s best brand ingredients.

During school term Jumbos offers enjoyable playgroups during the week for mums, dads, grandparents or caregivers with their children. For just the admission price, children and parents receive structured activities, fruit to eat and unlimited time on the playland.

Each day of the week Jumbos have a different themed playgroup: Monday is Music & Dance, Tuesday is Fairy and Pirate Fun, Wednesday is Crazy Craft, and Thursday is Jumbo Gym. Further details about all the playgroups can be found on the website or drop in and have a chat to the girls.

During the school holidays Janice, the playgroup co-ordinator has created a jam-packed schedule, catering to all age groups. For the littlies, they have Movement & Dance Fun as well as Superhero fun for Under 6s with special guest, Batwoman.

The 6 to 10 years won’t miss out with High School Musical Cheerleading workshops and ‘Grossed Out’ Science.

The Bumper Bowling makes for great fun for the little kids and they even have ramps too so even the tiny tots can join in the fun. Just roll those brightly coloured balls down the ramp and away they go. They’re nice and light too !!

Ladies are also offered chest and back protectors. The staff are experienced, helpful and personnable.

The best thing about Skirmish is that the gun has the power, not the player. Size or strength of a player has no bearing on their ability to compete. It’s a more mentally challenging game than it is physical. Skirmish Down Under have had many players over the years well into their 80s. Women compete equally with men – and young with old.
